DE: Und will herausnehmen allen fröhlichen Gesang, die Stimme des Bräutigams und der Braut, die Stimme der Mühlen und Licht der Laterne, dass dies ganze Land wüst und zerstört liegen soll. Und sollen diese Völker dem Könige zu Babel dienen siebzig Jahre.
NO: og jeg lar fryds røst og gledes røst, brudgoms røst og bruds røst, lyd av kvern og lys av lampe bli borte hos dem. Og hele dette land skal bli til en ørken, til en ødemark, og disse folkeslag skal tjene Babels konge i sytti år.
GB: And more than this, I will take from them the sound of laughing voices, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the stones crushing the grain, and the shining of lights. All this land will be a waste and a cause of wonder; and these nations will be the servants of the king of Babylon for seventy years.
